How to Choose a Sensory-Friendly Clothing Manufacturer

Compare sensory-friendly clothing manufacturers for private label production: construction capability, fabric sourcing, MOQ, quote scope and approval responsibilities.

Start with a product brief, not a supplier adjective

For a private label range, define the garment, intended age and size range, target market and specific contact details before requesting quotes. Replace descriptions such as extra comfortable with named requirements: neck label method, seam location, waistband construction and fabric reference. Separate mandatory features from options you are willing to develop. Send the same version to every shortlisted factory so that a lower price does not simply reflect missing work. Sensory preferences vary; a manufacturer should not promise that one construction will suit every wearer.

Ask which construction the factory is actually quoting

Request a written construction proposal and an inside-view sample or drawing for the relevant garment. Tagless, flat seams, reduced seams and seamless are different specifications. A cut-and-sew top can still contain seams even when their bulk is reduced. If the brief requires a seamless construction, ask the supplier to confirm the proposed production method and any joins that remain before paying for development. Also identify which operations are performed at the production site and which require outside suppliers. A generic catalogue photo cannot answer these questions.

Separate garment MOQ from material availability

Ask whether the quote uses an available fabric, a custom-dyed material or a specially developed knit. Record composition, weight, finish, colour reference and the conditions for reordering. A garment minimum does not automatically establish the minimum for custom fabric, trims or decoration. At Yiwu Nai Shi Clothing Factory, the garment MOQ is 100 pieces per style and colour with four mixed sizes. Material options still need to be checked against the proposed design. For example, two colours of the same top require 100 pieces in each colour, rather than 100 pieces shared between them.

Compare a complete scope, including excluded work

Ask each supplier to itemise pattern development, sample making, materials, label application, decoration, packing and any requested testing or inspection. Record currency, quantity basis, quotation validity and shipping terms alongside the unit price. Identify who supplies destination-market label wording and artwork, and who approves them. If a buyer requires a specific test or certificate, request evidence relevant to the actual material or order and confirm its scope; a general claim on a website is not a substitute. Treat unanswered items as open questions, not as services included for free.

Agree how revisions and production changes are controlled

Name the person who approves the sample and give every revision a version number. Ask how extra sample rounds are charged and whether a material substitution requires fresh approval. Keep the approved measurements, label file, fabric reference and finished sample together. Use the linked sample-review checklist for the wear and care observations; this supplier comparison is for deciding whether the factory can follow and document those decisions. Agree what photographs, inspection records or other evidence will be available before shipment, and how discrepancies will be addressed.

Request a quotation from our Dongguan production factory

Send your brief, quantities by style and colour, four-size breakdown and delivery destination to Yiwu Nai Shi Clothing Factory. Our business is registered in Yiwu and production is in Dongguan, China. Simple samples take 7–12 days and complex samples 15–20 days, with sample fees paid in full. Bulk timing depends on the style and quantity. Bulk payment is 70% deposit and 30% before shipment following photos, video or inspection. Freight is paid by the buyer. Confirm the design-specific scope and costs in the quotation before proceeding.
